Thanks to all of you who participated in our Elect to Read campaign! We had more than 150 votes for our candidates, and I’m happy to announce our winners:

For the preschool through first grade group, Curious George won. You can find books about Margaret and H.A. Rey’s curious little monkey in our picture book section, under E REY.

The winner of the second through fifth grade category was Junie B. Jones. Read all about Junie B.’s adventures in the series by Barbara Park in the juvenile fiction section under J PAR and JP PAR.

Finally, the big winners in the sixth through eighth grade category were the Baudelaire Orphans. Check out the Baudelaires in Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events books, under J SNI.
